If I’m being honest, my husband used to be the smoothie maker in our family. He made them for me a few mornings a week so I could drink them on the way to work. I finally decided I should learn to make smoothies for myself since I was drinking them so often! I have tweaked my husband’s “recipe”, removing the vanilla and scoop of orange juice concentrate. I switched out cow’s milk for almond milk and whey powder for organic plant-based protein powder. What remains is a basic vegan smoothie recipe that tastes so great that I can drink it over and over again!
